In the Gathering Series, my intention was to honor the cafes, restaurants, and parks where we gather. Tender Night, Umbrella Sky, and La Mercerie and were based on the photography of NYC-based photographer, Joe Thomas, with permission granted. Moody Charm and Cafe Bar were based on gathering places in my local town of Truckee, CA. All were painted during quarantine as a way to connect and pay tribute to our shared community spaces.

I use high-quality acrylics on gallery-wrapped heavy-duty canvas, made with archival-quality natural cotton with 1.5 depth, painted black.
